You don’t need to buy children’s headwear—just use the leftover yarn from your knitting!

02 Rabbit-ear hair accessory
The crocheting technique is incredibly simple—only single crochet stitches are needed to complete it! Once kids put it on, they’ll never want to take it off again~
Outer ear (2 pieces) — Use white thread.
Row 1: Chain 5, then single crochet 4 stitches in the turning chain.
Row 2: Add one stitch at each end, for a total of 6 single crochet stitches.
Row 3: No increases or decreases, a total of 6 single crochet stitches.
Row 4: Add one stitch at each end, for a total of 8 single crochet stitches.
Rows 5–10: No increases or decreases—total of 8 single crochet stitches (if you’d like the ears to be longer, you can add a few more rows).
Row 11: Decrease by skipping 4 stitches, for a total of 7 single crochet stitches.
Row 12: Decrease by skipping 3 stitches, for a total of 6 single crochet stitches.
Row 13: Decrease by skipping 2 stitches, for a total of 5 single crochet stitches.
Row 14: Decrease by skipping 2 stitches, for a total of 4 single crochet stitches.
Row 15: Decrease by skipping 1 stitch, for a total of 3 single crochet stitches.
Row 16: Decrease by skipping 3 stitches, for a total of 2 single crochet stitches.
Finally, crochet a round of single crochets along the edge of the outer ear.
Use the same method to crochet another outer ear.
Inner ear (2) Blue line
Use the same hooking method as for the outer ear, but replace the single crochet stitches along the last round’s edge with white yarn.
Hook a total of 2.
Suturing
Align one piece of the inner ear with one piece of the outer ear, place a twisty stick shaped like an ear in the middle, and sew the edges together using short stitches.
Using the same method, complete the other ear.
Take a rubber band, wrap the white thread around the hook’s short stitch, and after completing one round, sew it together with the two ears to finish.
